My route into interior design has been a little unconventional.

​

I studied Film before working in music and television, eventually running my own London-based television agency, representing Researchers, Producers and Directors working across drama, entertainment and specialist factual documentaries for the BBC, ITV and Channel 4.

​

I've always been fascinated by storytelling and the visual world, from social realism to old Hollywood glamour.

​

After moving to North Essex, starting a family and renovating my own home,

I returned to study Interior Design and founded House of Lexden.

​

There is more crossover between my two careers than you might imagine. Being an agent was about understanding people and finding the right fit.

I approach interiors in much the same way,  bringing together people, architecture, furniture, colour, lighting and objects to create a home that

feels completely personal.

​

I'm fascinated by light, atmosphere and the way a home can make you feel.

I love mixing old and new, beautiful lighting, interesting colour and pieces with a story behind them. Ultimately, I want to create homes that

feel wonderful to live in.
